Text in Norwegian (mostly using fraktur). pp. iv, 232. Significant wear to boards, especially at the corners. Chip on top 1/2 inch of spine. Tape repair to one leaf on the inside margin (verso title page). Probably new endpapers. Previous owner's name on front blank endpaper. Some light age toning around the edges of the leaves. Text has a handful of minor marginalia. Saami is a general name for a group of Uralic languages spoken by the Sami people in parts of northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and extreme northwestern Russia, in Northern Europe. Several names are used for the Sami languages including Lappish and Lappic.[Wikipedia]
